Panchkroshi Yatra 2025: A Sacred Pilgrimage Around Ujjain’s Divine Circle

Panchkroshi Yatra 2025 Dates
In 2025, the Panchkroshi Yatra will begin on April 23, 2025 (Vaishakh Krishna Dashami) and conclude on April 27, 2025 (Vaishakh Amavasya).
Spiritual Significance
The Panchkroshi Yatra is mentioned in ancient Hindu scriptures and is considered a highly meritorious journey. Walking this path is believed to destroy sins, grant inner purity, and even pave the way for moksha (liberation). The journey represents both a physical and spiritual transformation.
The yatra begins with the symbolic “bal” (spiritual energy) received from the Nagchandreshwar Temple located in Patni Bazaar, Ujjain. At the end of the journey, devotees return to the temple to offer the "bal" back, completing the sacred circle.
